in foods. Foods containing simple carbohydrates include fruit,
sugar and candy. Due to the form of simple carbohydrates, they
enter the bloodstream very quickly.

carbohydrates are glucose, sucrose, fructose, and lactose. Foods
which contain these forms of simple carbohydrate are simple carbs.
Such items are white sugar, brown sugar, confectioner's sugar, corn

cookies and pastries.
