My name is Steven Sidorski and the protein bar I am reviewing is called "PowerBar Harvest".

The flavour is Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip which currently is not carried by Matt Canning who is the webmaster for http://bodybuildingpro.com so the best thing to do would be to look in your store of choice and if it is not carried, just email him at Webmaster@BodybuildingPro.com to get the always low discount price. The PowerBar Harvest flavour Matt does carry is Apple Harvest which is a more nutritional protein bar via http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/pow/harvest.html.

On the other hand, each bar of the Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip flavour has 7g fewer carbs than each Apple Harvest bar but each PBCC flavour bar carries double the saturated fats of AH.

When you open one bar, you will be able to tear it down the middle so that you can read the product and nutritional information, without having to read it in pieces, while you are eating it. It basically looks like a multi-grain bar except it has chocolate chips on the top and tastes quite good although it is not as chewy as most other PowerBar bar supplements.

Each 58g bar of PowerBar Harvest has 10 g of protein and 4 g of dietary fibre. This product is heart healthy in the sense that while many factors affect heart disease, this bar is low in saturated fat with 1.1g and it is low in cholesterol which helps to lower the risk of this disease or others.

For those with food allergies, be aware that this product contains traces of almond, milk, peanut, wheat and sesame ingredients. For those who are not allergic, the suggested usage is to have one bar around a half-hour before activity with one to two cups of water. More water does not hurt.
