Let's look at the ingredient details of the NVE Black Jax Shots:

Vitamin B5 - 100%
Vitamin B12 - 10000%
Proprietary Energy Blend - 10g
Krystar™ 300, Taurine, Guarana, Ginseng, Yerba Mate
Ingredients:
Filtered Water, Crystalline Fructose, Caffeine, Ascorbic Acid, Natural And Artificial Flavors (With Caramel Color), Niacin (B3), Pyrodoxine (B6), Citric Acid, Pantothenic Acid (B5), Taurine, Thiamine (B1), Cyanocobalamin (B12), Guarana, Ginseng, Yerba Mate, Folic Acid (B9), Biotin (B7), Contains 0.5 Percent Or Less Of Potassium Benzoate (Preservative).
As you can see, this shot is very vitamin rich, especially in terms of the B vitamins with 2000% of the RDA for vitamin B6 and 10000% of the RDA for vitamin B12! It also contains taurine, guarana, and caffeine which are energy boosting ingredients.
Effectiveness:
I have tried other energy boosting shots like this one, most notably Labrada Charge! SuperShot. Personally, I did not feel that NVE Black Jax Shot was as effective as Labrada's product. I felt that it did boost my energy slightly, but certainly not in a massive way like Labrada's product did. If Labrada's product is an A, I would say NVE Black Jax Shot is a C by comparison. It was alright, but one shot just didn't do it for me and they recommended only using one shot every six hours so I didn't want to push things and use two of them.
Overall Review:
Overall I felt that the NVE Black Jax Shots were pretty good and did provide an energy boost, but were not as effective as some other energy boosting supplements that I have tried, most notably Labrada Charge! SuperShot. I did think it did the job, but I think a product a little stronger would go a long way. You can get a 6-Pack of Labrada's product for $11.99 which works out to $2 per shot, while the NVE Black Jax Shots run for $15.89 for 10 which works out to $1.59. However, I would say it is worth the increased price to buy the SuperShots. NVE's product didn't taste particularly good but since it was only a shot it was not hard to swallow. All in all, I would rate the product a C.
