Just what people like to see when they walk into my place...a soy protein. The first question I usually get from people is "Well what about all the estrogen?" First of all, the estrogen in soy is such a small amount you would literally have to eat pounds upon pounds of soy to get any effect. Second of all, soy protein is cheap and effect. Finally, the only reason I don't take soy all the time is for the reasons you're about to read. First of all I have found it consistent in all soy protein powders that all of them have the same glue like texture that I can't stand. I could usually swallow supplements that taste horrible but when it comes to texture I can't really bare the feel of it at all. When you first open the container not only will you notice that it does not come with a measured scoop but it also has a weird consistency that looks like it can turn into a brick at any second and it can hold a shape when pressed upon.

As far as mixing goes your best chance is of course with a blender, but shaking is tolerable but not the greatest with soy protein because it tends to clump together. The soy itself in the container is already clumped together, I found trying to mix with a fork or spoon in a glass is impossible, it's like mixing a scoop of hot chocolate to cold milk and seeing it all rise to the top in clumps that are impossible to get rid of. If you have a little handy shaker cup with built in electric mixer I don't see why you can't bring this to the gym but if you don't I would not take without a blender, so it's great when you wake up, or go to bed, or both. As far as flavour goes mine was unflavoured, but it does have an odd nutty flavour to it, as if you were drinking watered down peanut butter. Also another soy protein powder with NO CARBOHYDRATES, well I shouldn't say no carbohydrates, it contains less than 0.5 grams which is good enough for me to say none.

This is also all protein isolates, meaning if you really can, take them post workout and they will be rapidly used up by the body which is great for post-workout when you need them the most. The protein is also great if you are lactose intolerant, vegetarian or vegan. I am going to rate the product a 7/10 because when taking it, it has the same positive and same negative attributes as most soy proteins such as taste and texture. I would not take the product regularly and I don't take it regularly for those reasons.
