Upon reviewing Probolic-SR by Maximum Human Performance my opinion of it is quite mixed.

Regarding this Vanilla flavour, it actually and literally tasted like crap and I could not even finish it even though I mixed it with the flavourful Vanilla Soy Milk and four tasty frozen strawberries.

As I have been reviewing proteins for quite a while, I sort of get tired of how all these companies seem to use words like anabolic, bio-efficient, all-natural and preservative-free to name a few. They do this to sell their supplemental protein product. However, so many companies have done this that there no longer seems to be any products that simply just state protein or whey protein.

With this product, I honestly do not feel as strongly that inappropriate labelling is the case with Probolic-SR as opposed to other similar brands and products. In support of this point, my attitude changed when I looked on the back of the bottle to see that Probolic-SR keeps feeding muscle tissue for twelve straight hours while whey comparatively works for less than three hours. As determined by the manufacturers of this company, the difference lies in (a) medium and slow release proteins to feed muscle tissue between meals and (b) patented micro-feed sustained released technology to provide a steady supply of amino acids for twelve hours.

As for the supplement facts, they are about average among products of this type. Probolic-SR contains a very generous amount of each of the eighteen familiar amino acids per serving. Further, this advanced protein blend of soy protein isolate, whey concentrate, casein contains very high levels of the following critical amino acids: glutamine, arginine and also BCAA's.

In addition, Probolic-SR has a good mix of carbs, fat and most of all protein. It is also a source of other nutrients. This twelve hour release formula of amino acids ensures that your muscles receive the nutrition they need to support muscle growth and recovery. This sustained delivery keeps your body in an anabolic muscle building state and prevents catabolic muscle wasting.

One warning regarding allergy information is that this product is made with soy, milk and fish. Other warnings are to keep this product out of reach of children, to be stored at 15-30C / 59-86F, protect from heat, light and moisture, and do not purchase if the seal is broken or if it is expired.
