At the beginning of June, I wanted to get myself on track both in the gym and in life and be very consistent in an intense workout program and a healthy bulking diet. I'm pleased to report that so far I have been on that track and things are starting off exactly as I wanted them to and in the few months to come I should complete a good clean bulk and work to refine what I develop in that time.
Thanks to bodybuilding.com I've also got a chance to use a variety of supplements to gauge their effectiveness and review them in terms of quality and overall value for your dollar. As always, be sure to check back here for my honest assessment of all supplements that I use, good or bad.
Today was day two of my using NOXCG3 by Xyience. My plan was to use the Gaspari Nutrition Triple Anabolic Arsenal but I felt I would test out NOXCG3 until the Gaspari supplements arrive. I had fantastic results using SIZEON by Gaspari Nutrition. SIZEON is a new way of making creatine. It is Cr bonded to a glucose polymer so you now have creatine gluconate. SIZEON boasts some awesome claims but I will tell you that they are all very realistic which is why I look forward to using SIZEON once again and this time stacking it with SuperPump250 and Novedex XT. Until then, I will continue to use NOXCG3 by Xyience:
I believe that heavy deadlifts and heavy t-bar rows have been a huge help to get my back development to where it is now and while I still have a ways to go yet, I have to give credit where credit is due. I also like dumbbell and barbell rows and chin-ups for the back.
The reason why I include biceps training on the same day as back training is because biceps are a secondary muscle worked when you do many back exercises. Even with perfect form, you will find that your biceps are also worked during the range of motion of a variety of back exercises. So since my biceps are already pumped up, my view is that I may as well get in a full biceps workout. Then later during the week (two days later, on Thursdays), I train biceps again, this time with triceps, after previously working triceps on Mondays.
For biceps, I sometimes incorporate cable movements because they apply continual tension on the muscle through the entire range of motion. An example of a good cable exercise for biceps to include would be cable curls as shown in the picture below:
Today my diet was good in that I consumed an adequate amount of calories and I may have been able to eat a little more, but for the most part this was a good day and I think my meal frequency and quality was good. My goal is to consume small meals approximately every three hours, consisting of lean meat sources such as tuna fish and chicken breast and eating brocolli, rice, and potatoes as carbohydrate sources. I have also been including lean ground beef in my diet or extra lean ground beef. The more lean, the better, and I drain a lot of the fat out while cooking.
Overall I found that today continued along the same path started at the beginning of the month and I really think that this summer will be a great one for an excellent clean bulk and an effective use of supplements coupled with a healthy diet and an intense workout program. Frankly, I can't wait to get it done!
