I got these pictures from the great most muscular picture article. I've been making quite a few articles based on the pictures in that thread and plan to compile them soon in a main section. Check the updates page for that, as it should be done towards the end of this month (August 2005).

In any event, I felt that I would take the time to say a few words about Jay Cutler who will be competing at the 2005 Mr. Olympia Contest this October in Las Vegas.

What can I say about Jay? Probably the same thing that I can say about Ronnie, although maybe not with quite the same level of confidence: If Jay comes in ON, his place at this contest is basically guaranteed - he will be 2nd place once again as he was at the 2001, 2003, and 2004 Mr. Olympia contests. I say that this is a guarantee because I highly doubt that Jay will be able to beat Ronnie. I just don't see that happening, as much as I'd like to be optimistic or speak in Jay's favour. Remember - Ronnie has nearly 10 years on Jay in terms of age and has been training for 28 years compared to Jay's 14 - twice as long! Realistically, Jay ain't gonna be catching up to him anytime soon. It's just not realistic. Possible, yes, but not realistic. They both have their respective strengths, but I feel that Ronnie still has him beat.

I also said that I can't assure Jay's 2nd place finish at the same level of confidence that I can assure Ronnie's victory. This is because the gap between Ronnie and Jay is a lot greater than the gap between Jay and the nearest guys (like Dexter Jackson) also fighting for second. If Ronnie comes in ON, he wins. That's a given. It's as much a fact as the world being round. On the other hand, if Jay comes in ON, and if Dexter comes in ON or another top guy, the probability of Jay being delegated to third becomes a greater possibility.

That having been said, I still think Jay will take #2.

Again, I hate to put an idea in people's heads, but that's how I see it.
