Awake at 7:22AM

Meal 1 (8:00AM):

  • Two Whole Eggs
  • Two Pieces of Toast with Strawberry Jam
  • One Piece of Baloney


Meal 2 (11:30AM):

  • Omelet with Onion, Tomato, Mushroom, Ham
  • Beef Burrito
  • Bowl of Brocoli
  • Bowl of Mixed Fruit (Orange, Pear, Watermelon, Peach, Cantaloupe, Pineapple
  • Bowl of Cream of Brocoli Soup
  • One Glass of Orange Juice
  • One Glass of Skim Milk


Meal 3 (6PM):

  • Chicken Leg
  • Bowl of Cream of Brocoli Soup
  • Wild Rice
  • Slice of 12-Grain Bread
  • One Glass of Orange Juice
  • Bowl of Mixed Fruit (Orange, Pear, Watermelon, Peach, Cantaloupe, Pineapple
  • Bowl of Lime Jello


Meal 4 (7PM):

  • Chicken Leg
  • One Glass of Skim Milk


Meal 5 (11PM):

  • Chicken Breast
  • Banana
  • Bowl of Oats
  • Protein Shake (23 grams)
  • Fat Free Lime Yogurt

I still have no appetite whatsoever and that is the honest to God truth. I'm going to keep trying different things to increase my appetite, as long as I can do it in healthy ways. Meaning - nothing drastic just for the sake of increasing it. Recently a friend recommended I eat faster and if I do that I will be able to eat more. His rationale was that your body won't be able to tell that you are full and in that time you can eat extra calories. That method is OBVIOUSLY unhealthy, and the next day he even admitted that. At first I thought he was crazy, but more than likely just not someone who knew all that much about nutrition.



As you may have noticed, I woke up a LOT earlier today than I normally do. I woke up at 7:22AM, in order to be on time for an 8:30AM meeting I have with my new thesis advisor. My new topic will relate to caregiver burden for people taking care of family member's with Alzheimer's disease. Basically, it is a topic in Gerontology. The data has already been collected and I just need to analyze the data and do the other components of the thesis, but no research design which will need ethical approval (it has already been approved). So I'm quite happy to say I will be graduating in May, 2005. Smiley



Anyway, as a result of waking up so (unusually) early today, I did my regularly scheduled shoulders workout yesterday that I would have otherwise done today. It went well yesterday and today I know I wouldn't have had enough energy for the workout.
