Let me set the scene... you just worked several days solid making the latest ezine, not to mention the behind the scenes work throughout the month collecting content, and when you have it all ready, you send it out the mailing list.

You feel good, after all you know it's a damned good edition of the ezine. Quality content, excellent reading, educating and entertaining etc. etc.

Hell you just know people will love it !!!

Then in come the emails... must be from the happy subscribers, expressing their gratitude. Recognition for a job well done...no???

Well, here's a nice collection of the best motivational emails that landed in my in-box in recently:-

- Why do you keep sending meemails, stop it or i will haveto sue you 

- Where did you get my name from to send me an email, i did fill in a form on your site, but did not think you would send me emails as a result

- UNSUBSCRIBE YOU YOU STUPID BASTARAD 

- i am totally up to my ass hacked oof with you dumd *******'s and you are email list if u dont stop sending me emails i will unsubscrive

- Stop these ridiculous emails at once this is total foolery, what makes you think i'm interested in steroids anyway

- This is the final straw. FUCKING UNSUSCRIBE ME NOW. WANKERS.

(Steroid Encyclopaedia Comment: This email was sent from someone who works in the IBM customer service department - he left his signature at the foot of the mail. So that's how you grow a company so big eh, customer service !!!)

Nice eh?? Sometimes I really don't know whether to laugh or cry... Whilst you are reading this ezine, my inbox will be gradually filling up with more emails like these... 

... I think I'll go and get a real job, maybe at the IBM customer service department !!!
