EAS Myoplex Lite Bars Review By Steven S.

The product of this review is the Myoplex Lite protein bar made by EAS. The flavour is Chocolate Peanut Butter Crisp. It looks just like it does on the wrapper.

My first impression of this supplement bar is that it opens right across and down along the borders in a way similar to that of a perfect incision made by a surgeon. The benefit of this is that you can lay out the entire wrapping on the label side and be able to read all of the nutrition information, ingredients, name brand and flavour, recommended use / purpose, allergy info and finally manufacturer information. We will go into further detail for these categories below.

Regarding the product, it appears to be half covered in chocolate on one side and the other side seems to resemble a solid grain but in the form of Rice Krispies square. The side which is supposed to be nutritional is covered in chocolate swirls kind of like a cake-maker spraying a cake all over the top of it. In other words, this product appears to be two-thirds chocolate.

Obviously the taste was impressive. However, this comes at a cost in terms of nutrition for the following reasons: carbohydrates considerably outweigh the amount of protein, sodium is higher than potassium and also the amount of saturated fat or trans fat or cholesterol is not disclosed. Furthermore, it does not contain many medicinal ingredients as compared to more / most other similar nutritional / supplement bars.

My experience with this chocolate peanut butter flavour was quite good as I took half the bar before doing a Turbo Jam workout with impressive results and I kept my motivation during the workout by saving the other half for after the workout. This tasty flavour kept me motivated. Specifically, I did a Turbo Jam workout for forty-five minutes straight except for water breaks no longer than thirty seconds. I felt so energized to be able to do the same activities as shown on the video if not better cardio activities than shown in the video. I will just save the rest of this bar for tomorrow because even after burning so much energy, I have no need to eat it any more.

My recommendation is for first-time protein bar buyers to purchase this product. For those who are more disciplined I would recommend finding other bars on http://www.bodybuildingpro.com The reason I say that is because I am telling you to find more nutritional protein bar supplements.

My rating is a 7 out of 10 which is fairly generous given that my opinion of this bar is that this is one of the low-end protein bars carried by our faithful Webmaster@BodybuildingPro.com.
