E-Z Curl Bar

E-Z Curl Bar: A special type of barbell used in many arm exercises, but particularly for standing E - Z bar curls wherein it removes from your wrists strain that might be present when doing the movement with a straight bar. An E - Z curl bar is occasionally called a cambered curling bar.

The e-z curl bar is an excellent piece of equipment all bodybuilders can use. The e-z curl bar is great for following exercises:

Bodybuilding Exercises Using the E-Z Curl Bar:
  • Upright Rows
  • Pullovers
  • Triceps Extensions
A s far as curls are concerned, the e-z curl bar has been known to reduce stress placed on the wrists and is the preferred choice for many bodybuilders. However, due to the positiion of the wrists, barbell curls using the e-z curl bar are actually less biceps intensive because it prevents full contraction of the biceps. If your wrists hurt while performing biceps curls using a straight bar, try using dumbbells as a change, and work your way up to heavy dumbbell weights. This will put more emphasis on biceps develop and save strain on your wrists.
