Don Youngblood, 51, of Alma died Sunday, May 8, 2005, in his home. He was the owner and operator of SDS Transportation in Alma. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christy Youngblood; and his parents, Carl and Martha Youngblood-Boyle.
He is survived by his wife, Sue of the home; two daughters, Shannon Oliver and her husband Lane of Alma and Julie Youngblood of the home; one son, Donnie Youngblood of Alma; his stepmother, Nell Youngblood of Alma; four sisters, Judy Thomson of California, Debbie Pourhasinian of California, Marianne Stienbock of Van Buren, and Trecia McRoberts of Fort Smith; six brothers, James Youngblood of Mulberry, Joe Youngblood of Texas, Robert Youngblood of Bakersfield, Calif., Doug Kosier of Alma, Jesse Boyle of Alma, and Dennis Boyle of California; three grandchildren, Tyler, Zackery and Madison Oliver, all of Alma.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2005, at Crossroads Church in Alma with burial at Evergreen Cemetery in Alma under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be James Youngblood, Joe Youngblood, Robert Youngblood, Doug Kosier, Jesse Boyle, Dennis Boyle, Donnie Youngblood, Lane Oliver, Steve Breyette, Stan Breyette and Roger Bullington.
