REVIEW OF BSN ENDORUSH DRINKS
This is Steve Sidorski writing this review and I am glad it has made its way onto your computer screen. Having said that, I would like to discuss a product which is made by BSN and is called Endorush. The flavour is called Fruit Punch Fix. Sounds delicious? Well it is. It tastes quite similar to the Berry flavour of 5-Hour Energy and tastes less like the Orange flavour of that drink.
Perhaps the greatest part of this drink is not the taste itself or even its nutritional value but that if you buy from http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/bsn/end.html you will be getting each serving for less than a dollar while a serving of 5-Hour Energy costs somewhere between $1 and $2. Even though you get twelve bottles for about $40, each bottle has four servings. Once you click on that link you will be able to find useful information such as its nutritional facts and how each of the ingredients effects you.
My experience with this drink started in a positive manner as I could feel my mental alertness and wakefulness going into high gear! The problem was that shortly after, in this case a few minutes later, I already started to feel a crash. This was not the case for me when I tried 5-Hour Energy or Extreme Energy. Nevertheless, my experience with Endorush was similar to other large energy drinks such as RockStar, Monster and Red Bull in that I felt good for a short period of time followed by a crash that I would say lasted about twice as long. One possibility may be that this was only my first time trying Endorush so I was therefore not used to the ingredients. Perhaps these drinks are engineered this way so that you keep on drinking it faster to prolong the crash while the manufacturers are increasing their profits in cash. Because of this, I will not use this drink before working out but I would definitely use 5-Hour Energy if I needed to.
Another problem with this drink is that a couple of ingredients is too much higher than the recommended daily intake. Each serving of Endorush has 1250% of your daily recommended intake of Vitamin B6 and a whopping 4170% of your daily value for Vitamin B12! Endorush in my opinion is something to surely avoid in the long run although I am sure that one or two bottles would not cause any noticeable harm. If you are involved in a sporting event such as a tennis tournament, then I would recommend this drink.
In conclusion, my rating for taste is a three and a half out of five because it tastes good enough to not need to consume anything with it at the same time to disguise or otherwise avoid its natural taste. However, I have to give it a failing mark of two out of five because I believe its levels of Vitamin B6 and B12 are much too high! I am not sure about the negative effects of overdosing on B-Vitamins so if you are concerned I say do a bit of research before you buy Endorush.
