The Beverly Hills diet was the brainchild of Judy Mazel (a
Hollywood actress). The diet is largely based on fruit consumption
which is said to aid in maximizing the body's fat burning
ability.
On a diet of fruit alone, exercise is not recommended.
With the restriction of overall caloric intake during this diet,
no exercise is recommended unless you feel you have the energy
levels necessary to do so.
Fruit is known to help prevent cancer. If you are consuming
between 5-10 servings of fruit a day, you can be happy you are
doing what you can to prevent cancer.
This diet is incredibly easy to follow and due to the limited
number of overall calories you will be consuming, you are sure to
lose some weight.
The Beverly Hills diet has not produced any viable results since
it has been around. The diet is also boring and lacking in quality
foods, vitamins & minerals and
other nutrients.
