Description


Purpose:

(1) To develop the chest and triceps.

Exercise Data:

Main Muscles Worked: Chest

Other Muscles Worked: Triceps, Shoulders, Lats

Equipment: Dumbbell

Mechanics Type: Compound

Instructions:

(1) Lie on a flat bench with your head over the end and your feet flat on the floor.

(2) In a semi-circular range of motion, lower the dumbbell(s) to the floor slowly and as far as possible.

(3) Bring the dumbbell(s) back up in the same arch.

Tips:

(1) Keep your head down and do not raise your hips.

(2) A barbell or cambered (EZ) bar may be used in lieu of the dumbbell(s).
