Alvita Ginger Root Tea Bags is a unique product among many which I have started to review recently. Most of the supplement reviews I write fall in the class of one of those listed below:
I want to make my database of reviews the most comprehensive one available online and in order to do so, I need to review as many supplements as possible, including those that I am not particularly interested in, such as ginger root tea in this case.
Ginger root is a perennial plant in the family Zingiberaceae. It is frequently used as a cooking spice throughout the world and originated in China. It later spread to other parts of the world. I had heard through a friend that ginger root increases libido and that is why I had an interest in checking it out. Just to see if herbs are even capable of doing that at all. I do eventually plan to review a host of supplements which provide a host of benefits, including effects on libido. As I said, I plan to create the most comprehensive review database for supplements available online.
I was also told that ginger root could help to increase my appetite. I can say that my appetite was indeed increased while I was using the ginger root tea. I am not sure of the exact mechanism in which ginger root helps to increase appetite, so I will conduct more research in that as I finish off the rest of the ginger root tea bags that I have. While I always encourage research on any supplement you wish to consume, the reality of the matter is that ginger root and other herbal products are (generally speaking) not ones to concern yourself with. They are herbs after all, and how dangerous can they be? That said, research does not hurt and can only help and is always a good idea.
Taste:
I found the tea bags to be exactly what I would expect from a ginger root tea. It had a very strong ginger taste when I drank it alone mixed with water. I did not try it in any other capacity except for that one. It was a very strong ginger taste and has no aftertaste and so read that as you will. If you like ginger, I would imagine that you would like the taste.
Overall Review:
I can't say that I experienced any particular effects from the ginger root tea, and not the libido effects which I had heard of either. Basically I just consumed it as a tea, although I never did drink more than one tea bag per day, and I didn't consume them each and every day. Perhaps if I did, I would have noticed some sort of effect. As it is, I don't particularly like the strong ginger taste as it is not my thing, although no doubt some people will enjoy that. I can say that my appetite did increase while consuming the ginger root tea bags and that is certainly a benefit to those wishing to increase their appetite in order to gain mass as part of their bodybuilding or muscle gain program. I recommend this supplement because it is cheap (24 tea bags for only $3.79), but only for those who enjoy ginger. If you do not enjoy ginger, I would naturally recommend that you avoid this supplement and opt for one that you enjoy.
