Ageless Albert Beckles had an excellent career in professional bodybuilding for four decades! His reign ended in 1991, where he qualified for the Mr. Olympia and competed in the competition at the age of 61! Albert is truly testamount to the power of bodybuilding and the bodybuilding lifestyle. Currently, at the age of 73, he is still active in bodybuilding and bodybuilding shows where he works as a judge for the IFBB. He will go down in the bodybuilding hall of fame along with other greats such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lou Ferrigno, Franco Columbu and many more. He has made the covers of many bodybuilding magazines and was the focus of many bodybuilding articles throughout his long and successful career. In 1985, at the age of 55, he placed 2nd at the Mr. Olympia competition at the age of 55, and some say he could have taken the show that year or the year to follow (Lee Haney ended up winning both shows). What he accomplished in the ranks of professional bodybuilding was truly incredible and second to none. He had such an amazing career and did it all while being a vegetarian!
