Again, I have the honor and privelege of promoting the 2000 Olympia Weekend. I alone cannot make this happen. This event is only made possible through the support of all the sponsors and exhibitors who have donated financially in order the bring our plans to fruition. I thank you all for being part of this event. This event would also not be the spectacular weekend that it is without the impressive setting of this unique venue. I would personnaly like to thank everyone involved with Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino who have put in countless hours and expended boundless energy to make this event a success. I thank you for your help. And most important, I would like to thank you, the fans of this great sport. You again have shown your support by turning out in record numbers. I am happy to welcome you to the 2000 Olympia Weekend here at the beautiful Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. I feel that this is the perfect setting for this great event. The atmosphere of the Olympia Weekend is greatly enhanced by the magnitude and magnificence of the Mandalay Bay. I know that you, the fans, also enjoy the setting and excitement provided by the Olympia Weekend. Again, we have record breaking crowds at the contests, at the Expo, and at Muscle Beach. The IFBB will continue to develop this event and make it a fun time for all fans. The IFBB is on the cutting edge of the new media age in providing a live webcast of the Olympia contests on the internet this year. We aim to keep our fans informed and connected.
